We fight to ensure high-quality, affordable health care and long-term care for all. We demand an end to healthcare profiteering and racial disparities in access and treatment. We know that safe staffing is vital for patient and resident care. We support our patients in seeking the care they need, including reproductive and gender-affirming care.

We mourn those we lost. We organize to make our workplaces safe and protect each other from unfair treatment and exploitation. We fight for what every worker deserves: a family-sustaining wage, health care, job and retirement security and paid time off. We demand protection and expansion of the right to form a union and bargain collectively.

We know there is too much power in the hands of corporations, billionaires, and politicians who have rigged the system against working families, worsened economic inequality and caused the climate crisis. We demand a fair tax structure to fund real investment in childcare, education, housing and sustainable communities. We fight for equal access to high-quality education and safe, affordable housing. We advocate for policies that welcome our fellow immigrants and keep families together. We demand an end to unjust policing and mass incarceration. We know that we can build safe communities by investing in human needs and ensuring a fair and restorative justice system.

We support fair treatment and oppose all forms of discrimination. As a nation, we must seek to dismantle anti-Black and structural racism and achieve equality for all. The failure to confront our nation’s legacy of slavery and state-sanctioned segregation and violence has divided us against one another. We must heal those divisions by directly addressing their root causes, including by instituting reparations for the damage wrought by slavery.

We stand on the shoulders of our forebears who fought and died for the right to vote. We fight against attempts to turn back the clock and disenfranchise Black and other voters of color. We demand a comprehensive program to guarantee voting rights and encourage democratic participation. We oppose the campaigns to ban books and spread misinformation that damage our democracy.

We demand bold action to address climate change and protect the planet for future generations. We fight to support and protect the communities most impacted, including by environmental racism. We advocate for a just transition away from fossil fuels and investment in high-quality green jobs. We stand in solidarity with those around the world fighting for freedom, democracy and justice.
